About me

From a very young age I have wanted to help others. At the time, all that was open to me I didn’t seem to “fit” so I went on a very twisty, windy journey to reach my vocation in 2018. This was when I first started my small business. I thoroughly enjoyed my new career being a world away from being a support officer for the local authority to a Social Prescriber and Care and Learning mentor in my current role.

I learnt a significant amount about people, myself and some of the skills that I use and benefit me today. I am too squeamish to be a nurse so I went on a quest to find my best skills. I realised that I am a good listener, very empathic and capable with words. Counselling and hypnotherapy seemed to fit the bill for those.

However, I also realised that I have a spiritual gift of touch. I discovered this at my Grandmother’s knee when I was a young teenager. She told family and this led me to find a way I could use this. I found Reiki in my early 20’s and have been training and using this since.

Covid forced me to pivot, as was the case for many of us. I chose to offer my skills in workshops via Whatsapp for groups in the community and I did some internet hypnotherapy sessions for a few clients that I already had.

The situation meant that I needed to get a job to keep a roof over my head, so I went back into supporting SEND children as an officer for the Local Authority. I have also moved areas and now live in lovely Derbyshire, where my father and his ancestors were born.

I am excited to be in a position to offer my services again and look forward to helping more people.

My passion is to help others to heal and to make the changes needed to live their best lives.
